Cures For Telogen Effluvium
Telogen effluvium is an abnormal loss of hair arising from alteration of the normal hair growth cycles. It is considered as a prominent alopecia cause. However, it is a poorly defined condition with very little research been done to understand this disease.
There can be various factors causing alteration of the normal hair cycle. In general most of the hairs are in the growth stage and only around one hundred hairs fall from the scalp each day.
Te problem witnesses a higher proportion of the hairs entering the resting phase of the cycle and hair shedding is greater than normal.
There are varied cures for Telogen Effluvium. Some causes are temporary, and there is hair regrowth after a short period of time. And there are other causes that are more persistent and consequently the hair loss continues. You can divide the causes into three types - a.) General causes, b.) Inadequate diet, c.) Stress.
Michel Waugh is involved with research on cures for Telogen Effluvium. He writes extensively on topics related to Telogen effluvium.
