Things a Woman Should NOT Do When Dating Online
There are some actions that a woman should never get involved in while engaged in an online relationship with a man. These things are almost certain to put a final end to any further communications with him.
While chatting online or by email do not write the story of your life. You will cause his eyes to glaze over and he is certain to fall out of his chair. Remember to keep things short and sweet until he gets around to asking for details...then offer them up slowly and only answer the questions that he asked. For instance: Should he ask how many siblings you have, he is NOT asking for the details of any interaction you have with them. He only wants to know how many brothers and sisters you have. Just say you have 2 (or whatever is the appropriate answer) and then ask the fellow how many sisters and brothers he has. For each question he asks you, you should ask him a question. Nothing turns a man off like a woman who is very long-winded who just doesn't know how to clam up or know how to just listen.
Never, EVER lie. I strongly believe that lies will catch up with you sooner or later. A large number (as well as many men) lie about their employment, marital status, age, weight, height and a slew of other things in online profiles. That is a large mistake in judgement. If you encounter a man that you are greatly interested in, he will find out you lied and thrown away the chance of proceeding with the relationship. So, just be sure to be honest and truthful. Without a doubt there is someone out there who will like you...even grow to love you...for precisely who you are.
Don't be too eager. If you do it'll make you look desperate that really is off putting for a man. They fancy themselves first and foremost conquerors and if getting the person of their desires to like them too is just too easy, they will soon lose interest. I don't mean to suggest that you should play "hard-to-get". What I mean is, Be patient and don't push for a meeting face-to-face. You shouldn't get impatient and email or IM a man too often. You should always play it safe and play it cool.
