What is Freeview?
Freeview is a new Free to Air digital television service to begin transmission in May 2007 (Date Confirmed by Freeview Limited), and will add more channels to the already available digital Free to Air services broadcast by TVNZ.
The FreeView Digital service is a technical change from the present Analogue transmission that provides clearer pictures, sharper sound, better choice of programmes and interactive options. All round, a better viewing experience.
What TV Channels can I get now in New Zealand?
There are many channels that are available in New Zealand in addition to the present analogue service. New Zealand Free to Air digital television is already being transmitted via Satellite to all of New Zealand.
